About the role
Working as a casual Residential Support Worker at our service in Box Hill, you will empower the people we support to live independently and participate in the community. Providing hands on support while ensuring a safe, inclusive and empowering environment, you will become an integral part of their care team.
* Assisting with personal care, daily living tasks and household duties.
* Supporting community participation, social engagement and recreational activities.
* Encouraging independence by helping build skills and achieve goals.
* Building meaningful relationships to provide person‑centred support.
* Maintaining accurate and thorough records of activities, progress and incidents.
What you will bring to the role
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to problem solve
* Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
* Ability to accurately record case notes
* A passion for supporting people to live their best lives
* Current CPR, First Aid, Working with Children Check, NDIS Check & completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
* Victorian drivers licence
