The role of Senior Social Worker in the Child Protection Team involves ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families are identified, monitored, and met according to the Children Act and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote the well-being and safety of children, young people, and their families.
* Conduct timely assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
* Engage relevant agencies, children, and families in assessments and planning.
* Manage complex caseloads, ensuring high-quality casework.
* Mentor less experienced Social Workers and co-work cases.
* Develop care plans reflecting the views and wishes of children and young people.
* Maintain accurate case records and produce required reports.
* Regularly review and update plans to meet the diverse needs of children and families.

Qualifications and Experience:
