Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $68,865 – $75,000 (depending on experience and skill set)

Location: Alice Springs, NT

Lasseters Hotel Casino is seeking a reliable and organised Store Person / Cellar Person to join our operations team. This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our hospitality venues by ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, rotated, and distributed. You will manage both general inventory and beverage cellar operations, ensuring products are kept in optimal condition and supplied efficiently to support business needs.

Store Person Responsibilities

* Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods; conduct stock counts and audits
* Storage & Organisation: Maintain orderly storage areas for efficient access and minimal damage
* Stock Rotation: Implement FIFO principles to manage stock usage and minimise waste
* Order Processing: Prepare, pick, and pack orders accurately and on time
* Health & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe workplace in line with WHS regulations
* Equipment Use: Operate and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools

Cellar Responsibilities

* Beverage Management: Store and handle beer, wine, and spirits under optimal conditions
* Line Cleaning: Perform regular beer line and dispensing equipment cleaning
* Stock Rotation: Ensure cellar stock is rotated correctly to maintain freshness
* Health & Safety: Follow safe handling and storage standards for all beverages
* Cellar Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cellar equipment (refrigeration, pumps, gas systems)
* Deliveries & Restocking: Receive beverage deliveries and restock bar outlets
* Quality Control: Check product quality and ensure compliance with venue standards

What We're Looking For

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic
* Physical fitness for lifting, moving stock, and manual handling
* Positive communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Experience & Qualifications

* A relevant qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate II or III in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field, OR
* At least one year of full-time relevant work experience in stock control, warehousing, cellar operations, or hospitality support roles
* Experience with beverage handling, stock rotation, or cellar operations (highly desirable)
* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
