Our depot, located in Tamworth is pivotal to ensuring the utilisation of our fleet is maximised and client delivery requirements are not just met, but exceeded. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Local Allocator to join the Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in Transport and Logistics. We're seeking a committed individual who is eager to grow with the business and become a long-term member of our team.

The Role
Mentored by and reporting to our Operations Manager, the right applicant will operate according to established policies and safety standards including Chain of Responsibility (COR) and Fatigue Management. Duties include:
* Local Driver Management & Logistics - With teams in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, you will be responsible for learning the key efficiency strategies to coordinate delivery requirements to an established customer base, optimising their schedule of work.
* Mass & Maintenance – Liaising with the Fleet Administrators on movements to ensure the fleet and trailing equipment are made available for servicing as per service schedules and NHVAS requirements;
* Communication – Fostering and developing client relationships to ensure expectations are met as well as establishing relationships with drivers both face to face and over the phone;
* H2 Work and Port Movements - Liaising with our Client and Ops Support for required movements / Imports and Exports
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will require:
* Strong interest in Logistics and Transport
* A willingness to learn all facets of heavy vehicle transport;
* Ability to problem-solve and think-quick to provide solutions;
* Excellent communication skills (phone & email);
* Strong attention to detail;
* Service oriented approach with the ability to work steadily in a fast-paced environment;
* Self-motivated and willingness to see a task through to completion;
* Strong computer and administrative skills (Including cloud-based programs);
