EMCG Pty Ltd is expanding our operations across residential, commercial, and major infrastructure projects — and we're looking for a proactive, confident Safety Officer to join our team.
THE ROLE
You'll support on-site safety, conduct inspections, deliver inductions, manage WHS documentation, and help ensure compliance across all EMCG sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
Ensure SWMS, risk assessments, and WHS documentation are compliant
Support incident and near miss investigations
Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
Maintain training records and WHS registers
Monitor high-risk construction work including heights, silica, and manual handling
Liaise with supervisors, trades, and principal contractors
Promote a strong safety culture across all sites
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
2+ years WHS experience in construction/trades
Solid knowledge of WHS Act, Regulations & Codes of Practice
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently with a practical, trade-focused mindset
