Job Title:
OSH Director Assistant
About the Role:
This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 30 hours per week.
The role involves working closely with the OSHC Director to ensure the service meets all operating requirements and provides a fun, safe environment for our school community.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
* Assist with planning, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for students R-6.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously when required.
* Support the day-to-day operation of the service.
* Work collaboratively with school leadership, the OSHC Advisory Committee, Governing Council and all other stakeholders.
* Ensure the service is compliant with all regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma in Outside of School Hours Care, Diploma in Children's Services (Education and Care) or Bachelor in Early Childhood or Primary Education are required.
Current Senior First Aid (HLTAID004 or HLTAID012), Current CPR (HLTAID001 or HLTAID009) and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) are also necessary.
A working knowledge of the ACECQA The National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time our Place is essential.
