This is a Recruitment Officer / Manager position within the Australian Public Service. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking internal and external advertising, as well as onboarding new hires.
* They will also provide expert advice and correspondence on recruitment matters, backed by research and best practice.
* In addition, they will prepare and draft documents, executive correspondence, and ad-hoc reports.
* The ideal candidate will have solid experience in recruitment, ideally within the APS or public sector, with a keen understanding of recruitment systems, policies, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake internal and external advertising to attract top talent
* Take charge of onboarding, delivering a smooth transition for new hires
* Provide expert advice and correspondence on recruitment matters
* Prepare and draft documents, executive correspondence, and ad-hoc reports
* Identify and contribute to improving recruitment processes and team service offerings
* Develop reference materials and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation
Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship
* Solid experience in recruitment, ideally within the APS or public sector
* Keen understanding of recruitment systems, policies, and stakeholder engagement
What We Offer:
* $80k - $120k + Super
* 6 – 12-month positions
