The Role
We're seeking an experienced and collaborative Group IT Senior Business Analyst to join our Group IT team on a 12‐month maximum term contract, based in Richmond. Reporting to the Group Digital Manager, you will focus on understanding business needs and turning them into practical solutions, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a key project in our digital transformation journey. You will work as part of a cross‐Tasman project team focused on the rollout of a Digital Forms platform to improve operational efficiency and digitise core processes.
What will you be responsible for?
* Utilise your business analysis expertise to elicit, validate, and communicate meaningful requirements, making a real impact on business outcomes.
* Lead and facilitate workshops to analyse business processes, challenge assumptions, identify improvement opportunities, and define robust business requirements.
* Own requirements throughout the project lifecycle, supporting stakeholders through change planning, go‐live, and hyper‐care.
* Build strong relationships with a diverse range of individuals, tailoring your approach and mentoring others to ensure the best results.
* Support project risk, quality, and schedules while seeking ways to deliver better and safer work outcomes.
* Deliver on targeted change‐management strategies, support end‐users, and drive successful adoption across the business.
* Uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices, always striving for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful you will bring more than 3 years of experience in business analysis, ideally gained in large or complex organisations.
Your proven track record in delivering large IT projects, combined with expertise in stakeholder engagement, will be essential for driving outcomes. You must be an effective communicator with excellent listening, documentation, and organisational skills.
Experience with key systems such as SharePoint, AvePoint, and Jira is highly valued. The ability to influence, adapt to change, and work collaboratively while consistently demonstrating integrity will see you thrive in this dynamic, fast‐paced programme environment.
