KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd are actively seeking a motivated and conscientious HSE Advisor to join our Adelaide Team.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a robust safety culture with a zero-injury focus.
Monitor and manage all HSE hazards, risks, and compliance obligations.
Lead by example to ensure all personnel understand their HSE responsibilities.
Investigate incidents and implement timely corrective actions.
Support injured employees and assist HR with return-to-work plans.
Ensure all HSE processes meet KAEFER and client standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain effective communication across all levels and with clients.
Deliver toolbox talks, training, and HSE awareness programs.
Coach and oversee the workforce on Take 5s, near misses, and reporting systems.
Analyse and report on HSE performance indicators.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Essential
3–5 years’ experience in a similar HSE Officer / HSE Advisor role within Oil & Gas (LNG) or large-scale construction projects in Australia.
Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS/NZS 4801 standards.
Solid skills in safety analysis, incident investigation, risk assessment, and environmental management.
Ability to interpret and act on leading and lagging indicators.
Education, Qualifications & Training
Essential
Certificate IV in Workplace Health, Safety and Workplace (or equivalent).
TapRoot / ICAM Workplace Investigation Certification.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
Current OHS Construction Induction White/Blue Card.
Current Manual Driver’s Licence.
Full Australian working rights.
Desirable
ISO Internal Auditor qualification.
Working at Heights certification.
Confined Space certification.
