This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Food Science Graduate to kick-start their career as an Assistant Product Developer in our team! Our Research & Technology team provide technical product development knowledge and services to support the development of new product innovations or improvements to existing products.

You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team and work on innovative projects in the Breakfast and Snacks categories. Working alongside a team of industry experts, you will learn from some of the best in the field.

**_Working closely with our product developers, your role will see you involved in:_**
- Leading the development of consumer validated concepts for multiple small to large projects, ensuring compliance to Kellogg Quality, Food Safety Standards, financial objectives and business policy
- Formulation accuracy, scheduling and execution of pilot plant and plant trials, confirming commercial stability, food safety and handover of commercially viable production of foods to the Supply Chain
- Full documentation of all project formulas and testing results, utilising our recipes development system as well as other supporting processes within the business Engaging with Packaging support personnel to coordinate testing
- Successfully handing over launched products to Supply Chain for full production
- Support labelling, nutritional, regulatory and food safety efforts

Skills, experience & attributes sought:_**
Along with the technical qualifications, this role will suit a passionate 'foodie'! We're looking for an individual who is super passionate about what they do with a strong desire to be a part of a team who want to deliver exciting new foods to the market. You will have a degree in Food Technology or Food Science, some experience in the food industry would be a great benefit, along with knowledge of Food Safety management, Food regulations and Nutrition.
This role will see you managing multiple innovation and renovation projects, so a self starter with the ability to prioritise tasks is essential. You will need to be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions for each of the projects that you're working on. Written and verbal communication skills is another key requirement as the role requires constant communication and updates with multiple stakeholders, so the ability to be clear, direct and timely in your communication is crucial to your success. You will get the opportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of technologies and ingredients, with the support of an incredibly knowledgeable R&T team. You will thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, and we're a business that is strong on relationships and this role will see you working with multi-disciplinary teams, in Australia and across the globe..
