About the role
We are looking for an amazing "All‐Rounder / Caretaker" to join the team and take our Merool Holiday Park to the next level!
We welcome applications from individuals or two people applying together. If shared, the workload would be divided into a full‐time grounds and maintenance role and a part‐time or casual all‐rounder role (Housekeeping / Front Office / Groundskeeping), with flexibility for additional hours depending on skills and availability. Due to the caretaking responsibilities, this is a live‐in role with on‐site accommodation provided.
The successful applicant must be available to work weekends, and public holidays as required.
You will be responsible for:
* General property maintenance and repairs
* Garden care: mowing, trimming, pruning, and pathway upkeep
* Pool cleaning and maintenance
* Housekeeping: cleaning communal areas and accommodation
* Front office: welcoming visitors and handling enquiries
* Overnight caretaking: monitoring the property and responding to issues
* Waste removal and general tidying
* Other duties to support smooth day‐to‐day operations
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Friendly, professional, and confident with guests and site holders
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Practical, organised, and hands‐on across housekeeping, grounds, front office, and maintenance
* Comfortable living and working on‐site
* Available to work weekends and public holidays as required
* High standards and excellent attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
* Supports smooth operations, ensuring positive guest experiences and well‐maintained facilities
* Respectful of workplace health and safety practices
* Multi‐skilled across housekeeping, grounds, and front office
* Must hold a valid driver's licence
