We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Undertake high quality, highly complex and advanced analyses of the trauma database including data linkage where appropriate, and providing interpretation and developing reports for demand, supply, service utilisation and outcome variables. Manage and lead the maintenance and development of the NSW 'Collector' Trauma Database including designing, assessment and implementation. Provide education, advice and support to traumas service co-ordinators and others using the NSW 'Collector' Trauma Database. About Us The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare. What You Will Be Doing The Data Officer will undertake advanced statistical and data analyses of clinical quality registry and administrative NSW Health data that will lead to strategic improvements in the quality of clinical services for ACI clinical networks, with a focus on the NSW Trauma Registry. Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated experience working with health data, including clinical and outcome data. Demonstrated proficient skills to co-design surveys, registries or databases with stakeholders (including clinicians) and demonstrated understanding of data management and governance principles and methods as they relate to health records, to ensure data quality, security and compliance. Experience delivering health projects involving data cleaning, validation, transformation, analysis and reporting using advanced analytical methods such as statistical modelling, and with proficiency in coding using R or other languages. Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
