This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Logistics Manager in managing the 3PL warehouse and associated tasks, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, warehouse management, projects, and continuous improvement.
 * Inbound: Monitor open orders and projected shipments from Paris; communicate forecast vs actual variations to 3PL; monitor shipment status to identify delays; liaise with vendors for accurate and timely information on shipments and receiving; create inbound priority lists based on out-of-stock analysis and product launches; monitor receiving progress and reinforce priority to 3PL as needed; work with stores on delivery and carton optimization; manage consolidation of return deliveries and cartons with stores to minimize delivery cost; communicate inbound stock receiving to key stakeholders.
 * Outbound: Monitor DTR integration between ERP and WMS; communicate priorities to 3PL when DTR quantities exceed forecast; collaborate with 3PL, stores, and Merchandising to ensure consistency in boxes delivered; resolve system integration errors with IT and 3PL; monitor DC export and SAV per SOP; oversee white-glove furniture delivery process to clients/stores; ensure outbound orders are dispatched per SLA and address delays with 3PL as needed.
 * Inventory Management: Monitor DC cycle counts per agreement; regularly monitor high-value products and plan storage per group guidelines; publish monthly expiry/shelf-life reports to stakeholders; validate shelf life monthly; support annual stock takes with 3PL and inventory teams; act on variance issues and analyze current stock by department against forecast.
 * Warehouse Management: Maintain a clean and safe DC environment in collaboration with 3PL; ensure proper handling, boxing, and storage locations; collaborate to segregate stock by location; assist in safety/security audits; validate KPI results published by 3PL and share with the business; monitor capacity optimization with 3PL and implement improvements; align with group supply chain core model with 3PL.
 * Projects, Process Improvement & Change Management: Own the 3PL issue log and follow up on improvements; create and document 3PL Value-Added Services (VAS) strategy and processes; create 3PL QC process per group guidelines.
 * General: Validate/approve 3PL and freight invoices; act as central point of contact for logistics/3PL issues for business teams; manage weekly team meetings in the absence of the Senior Logistics Manager.
 * Strategic Support with Senior Logistics Manager: Logistics implementation; review contracts of logistics vendors; transport optimization and tracking; negotiate with service providers for cost monitoring; monitor 3PL budget per RFP forecast vs actual and publish reports; drive CSR initiatives with logistics providers; monitor and validate 3PL CSR initiatives; align 3PL SOP with group guidelines for returns to CDC; ensure 3PL safety training; ensure clear CSR policy communication across employees; ensure DC compliance per group guidelines.
Requirements
We seek an individual with strong analytical skills, collaborative nature, and customer focus. The ideal candidate will have experience with international freight and customs, although this is not essential. Agile prioritization and stakeholder management skills are also required.
