About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a successful professional services practice on the Gold Coast, experiencing growth across their client base and team.
They provide tailored financial advice, accounting, and mortgage broking solutions and have been in operation for nearly 10 years.
Due to business growth, they need a management accountant/finance officer.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete end-of-month reporting, including journals and reconciliations, then present results providing feedback on performance against budgets/forecasts.
2. Manage daily financial reporting.
3. Support the annual budgeting process.
4. Provide business performance reporting and analysis to improve operational and business performance.
5. Work with and maintain complex financial models.
6. Perform accounts receivable and payable tasks.
7. Prepare and lodge monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements.
8. Process payroll.
About You:
1. Previous experience as a management accountant in an Australian professional services firm (e.g., financial services, accounting or legal).
2. Hold a formal qualification such as a Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting.
3. Experience with financial reporting of multiple entities and consolidated financial statements.
4. Experience using Xero and preferably Worksorted.
5. Strong understanding of compliance obligations.
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The salary is flexible based on skills and experience, circa $85,000 + Super.
