We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shed Builder to join our team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing sheds, garages, and other steel structures while adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Building and Installation: Assemble and erect steel sheds, garages, carports, and other structures using premium materials like BlueScope Steel and Colorbond.
Site Preparation: Review and prepare work sites, ensuring they are clear of hazards like easements and pipes.
Reading Plans: Follow detailed engineering drawings and specifications to execute precise construction.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform upkeep and repair work on existing sheds and structures when required.
Tool Operation: Use tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Safety Practices: Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in shed construction
* Relevant insurances and licenses
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and quality standards
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
