Recruitment Officer – Geelong | Immediate Start Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Officer to join our valued client based in Geelong on a contract basis.

About the Role: As the Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for managing recruitment activities across a range of positions while supporting workforce planning and ensuring efficient hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment for allocated vacancies
* Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines
* Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates across multiple channels
* Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates based on skills and cultural fit
* Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment checks
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure policy and legislative compliance
* Prepare recruitment reports, vacancy updates, and workforce planning data
* Deliver a positive candidate experience and represent the employer brand professionally
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across recruitment systems and processes
About You:
* Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
* High attention to detail and strong administration skills
* Knowledge of recruitment compliance and employment processes
* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
