About the role
This is a full time, fixed term role to 28 May 2027 in Council's Community Arts and Recreation team and is based at Dr Mackay Community Centre located in Moruya. As the Social Programs Planner, you will plan and deliver innovative, flexible and responsive social connection and transport activities that support seniors within the community, ensuring all services align with Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Home Care Package (HCP) requirements, and Council policies.
The starting salary for this position is $70,736.73 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

About You
You bring a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of older community members by supporting connection, independence and participation. You're skilled in leading people, developing positive relationships and ensuring high‐quality service delivery.
Your Application Should Demonstrate The Following
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Community Services, Social Science or related field, or working towards achieving any of these qualifications; and or substantial experience in community service delivery for people who are ageing.Recent experience working with people who are ageing.Experience developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating services and funding programs to seniors.Ability to lead and support staff and volunteers to achieve service requirements.Broad and current knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Program (HCP).Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.High level computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel.
