Saddles Mount Whiteis a busy restaurant located in the heart of Mount White, Central Coast. We are open 7 days for breakfast and lunch with nights only occasional nights for special events and functions.
Our focus is a casual dining experience highlighting local and native ingredients.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chefto join our kitchen team, apprentice, Commis and Chef De Partie skill level.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Assist the Head Chef in Menu planning.
* Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu.
* Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
* Assist in managing stock levels.
* Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
* Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine passion for cooking and food
* Trade qualifications (i.e. Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery)
* At least 2 years experience as a Chef
* Thorough understanding of food safety standards
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
