Campbelltown Private Hospital are seeking a highly passionate, dynamic and engaging Nurse Unit Manager on a permanent full-time basis for our Day of Surgery Unit.

As a Nursing Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:Providing operational direction for Day Surgery to ensure efficient and effective managementEnsuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environmentProviding guidance, mentoring and support to your teamBeing accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resourcesUndertaking direct nursing care, as requiredEnsuring compliance with ACQSHC National standardsEssential Criteria:Current Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse with no restrictionsRegistered Nurse with at least 5 years' experience in acute surgical hospitalProven experience in building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approachDemonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholdersUnderstand the requirements of private health fundingA commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused careHigh degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data basesAbility to work cohesively within a team environmentDesirable Criteria:Tertiary post graduate qualifications in Nursing ManagementA demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation.A demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality improvement, change management, models of care, evidence based practice and practise development.Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.

For any questions, please reach out to ****** If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement - NUM classification starting from $62.46 to $67.18 per hour.
