The position of Principal Technical Specialist – Integration assists in leading a small team within CHQ HHS. The team provides information system/application integration, software development and database management services related to the delivery of stable, contemporary, efficient and scalable locally developed information systems and data repositories.
You will also engage with current business users, business analysts and subject matter experts to create technical requirements leading to the implementation of future high-quality information solutions. Within Digital Health Services, you and your team will need to work collaboratively and productively with other teams and vendors to deliver a range of projects affecting clinical, administrative and operational staff.
Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
* In a leading role, design, develop, implement and maintain applications, databases and middleware services that meet the needs of our clinical, business and operational services.
* Prioritise work for the team, in accordance with the short, medium and long-term goals, objectives and projects within Digital Health Services, and lead the effort to meet these objectives.
* Mentor other team members in developing, maintaining and promoting a high level of client focus, quality customer service, and a commitment to delivery of high-quality software solutions.
* Lead team member cross-skilling to enhance the teams multi-disciplinary expertise.
