BOS Civil Pty Ltd and its associated businesses operate in the construction industry in WA. We specialise in high quality civil engineering projects for both private and government clients.
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Building Associate to join our Osborne Park team in a full time role.
The Building Associate provides technical, planning and coordination support across construction projects. This role assists Construction Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and Surveyors by interpreting drawings, preparing technical documentation, coordinating site activities, estimating costs, and monitoring compliance with project specifications, standards and regulations. The Building Associate supports efficient project delivery by providing drafting, design assistance, cost analysis, and field-based inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate site labour, materials, equipment and daily construction activities.
* Assist with project planning, scheduling and development of construction methods.
* Prepare, review and update drawings, plans, technical documents and specifications.
* Support cost estimation, budgeting and assessment of design changes or variations.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with standards, codes and quality requirements.
* Collect site and survey data, perform basic measurements and assist surveyors as needed.
* Provide technical support for structural and civil design, including load analysis and transport system planning.
Applicants need at least 2 years' relevant experience and a qualification in Building & Construction, Civil Engineering, Drafting or related discipline (Certificate / Diploma / Degree).
Applicants will also have:
* Construction White Card (WA).
* Understanding of construction methods, sequencing and quality standards.
* Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings, specifications and plans.
* Knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice and industry standards.
* Experience with surveying equipment and basic site measurements (desirable).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare cost estimates and assess variations.
* Proficient with drafting or design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit - desirable).
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
A salary between $100,000 - $115,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
