Job Description
As a Senior Geologist, you will play a key role in leading our projects, handling client communication and project planning, budgeting, and report preparation. You will lead and mentor a team of professional geologists, providing guidance, advice, and in-house training to support their professional development and growth.
You will be responsible for supervising the field and office work of junior staff associated with hydrogeological investigations, environmental evaluations, and sampling. Additionally, you will prepare detailed design recommendations for complex or unusual conditions, provide leadership and staff development, and serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects.
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a closely related technical field, at least 8 years of Geology experience, and a Professional Geologist (PG) license. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the field and office work of junior staff associated with hydrogeological investigations, environmental evaluations, and sampling.
* Prepare detailed design recommendations for complex or unusual conditions.
* Provide leadership and staff development, including counsel, advice, and in-house training.
* Serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects, independently scope and budget projects, and prepare proposal documents.
* Cultivate client relationships and assist in identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Geology or a closely related technical field.
* At least 8 years of Geology experience.
* Professional Geologist (PG) license.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
