WorkPac is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Services Officer (ESO) for a short-term contract at Yarrabee Mine, located near Blackwater in Central Queensland. This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role with all meals and accommodation provided on site.

* Location: Yarrabee Mine (near Blackwater, QLD)
* Dates: Ongoing
* Shifts: 12-hour shifts – day and night
* Roster: Casual contract with opportunity for future ongoing work
* Travel: DIDO – travel time not paid
* Meals and accommodation provided on site
* Pay: Above award flat rates + overtime/callout where applicable

What You Will Need:
* Coal Board Medical (Section 4) for Emergency Responder roles (must be current)
* Standard 11 – Surface Induction
* Certificate III in Mines Rescue or higher
* HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drug testing
* RIIVEH201E – Operate a light vehicle on mine sites
* PUAEME005A – Administer emergency first aid medications
* Minimum 12 months experience working in the mining industry

Duties Will Include:
* Provide onsite emergency medical response
* Assist the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
* Operate the site ambulance and fire truck
* Conduct drug and alcohol testing
* Support inductions, emergency drills, and safety procedures
* Perform gatehouse and security duties as required
