Role Summary
We are seeking expressions of interest from registered Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health professionals with a passion for teaching.
As part of our clinical education program, you will provide academic supervision and facilitation for students undertaking formal practicums in the region. This is an ongoing opportunity to work as a sessional academic in a supportive environment that values ongoing learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves incorporating culturally sensitive healthcare practices, supervising students effectively, providing academic counselling and mentoring, and collaborating with staff and stakeholders. You will also be involved in teaching, research, and community engagement activities.
* Supervise students in accordance with university and facility requirements.
* Incorporate scholarship and expertise into teaching practices.
* Contribute to the development of engaging supervision models.

Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant qualifications and experience recognized by the institution.
* Experience in teaching and/or research within a university or teaching environment highly regarded.
