About the Role
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers with specialist experience in crushers or rotating maintenance to support shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia's largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you will access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.
Join dedicated teams working on high priority fixed plant assets including crushers, driveline systems, pumps and rotating equipment.
What You'll Need
We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers with Crushing or Rotating Maintenance experience. Depending on your background, you will join either our Crushing or Rotating Maintenance teams.
Crushing Specialists
* Cone, jaw and gyratory crushers
* Concave, hydroset and eccentric replacements
* Crusher lubrication systems
Rotating Maintenance Specialists
* Driveline replacements including conveyor motors and gearboxes
* Warman and GEHO pump overhauls
* Heat inductors for bearing and coupling replacements
* Laser alignment and thermal expansion using Pruftechnik tools
All roles work safely and in accordance with permit to work and isolation procedures.
You will also be able to provide:
Essential
* Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
* Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
* Construction White Card
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Valid Australian work rights
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Desirable
* Previous mining experience
* Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
* Additional trade or high‐risk tickets
