Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Yarrawonga, VIC, for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Clinical Lead. The responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans, providing clinical supervision and mentorship to practitioners, conducting functional behavior assessments, and collaborating with individuals, families, and support teams to achieve positive outcomes. The role also entails ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines, delivering training sessions, and supporting continuous professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and experience in Positive Behaviour Support, behavior assessments, and plan development
Skills in mentorship, clinical supervision, and team leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional reports and deliver training
Experience in working with individuals with disabilities, complex needs, or behaviors of concern
Commitment to upholding human rights and person-centered approaches
Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related discipline
Registration with relevant professional regulatory bodies and knowledge of NDIS frameworks is highly desirable
