Our client is a well-established and reputable food manufacturing company based near Moorebank. Known for their high standards, strong culture, and commitment to quality, they are currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join their close-knit maintenance team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a proactive and skilled tradesperson who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be working alongside a small team of experienced tradespeople and reporting directly to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. The role focuses on both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production and site equipment.
* Assist with breakdown response to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
* Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with scheduled plans.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and site procedures.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with equipment upgrades.
* Maintain accurate service records and contribute to a safe work culture.
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified and licensed Maintenance Fitter (Australia-recognised).
* Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG or food manufacturing (highly desirable).
* Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and a true team player.
* Must be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

* Annual Earnings circa $122,610 + Super (inclusive of penalties)
