Warehouse Manager
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations in our busy Queensland facility.
As a Warehouse Leader, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely order dispatch, inventory integrity, and a safe working environment.
You'll manage a motivated team, implement process improvements, and collaborate with Sales and Logistics to deliver exceptional service and optimize distribution strategies to keep a relentless customer focus.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, allocating resources between inbound, outbound, and inventory teams and managing direct reports.
Provide financial performance analysis and develop action plans to address variances against the Annual Operating Plan.
Lead and manage a high-performing team through structured performance management, coaching, and regular one-on-one meetings.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all inbound shipments (finished goods, raw materials, sample stock) within KPI targets.
Manage outbound shipments to meet customer, export, and DRP dispatch requirements in line with business KPIs.
Coordinate transportation schedules to prioritize urgent shipments and maintain efficient product flow, avoiding bottlenecks.
Collaborate with Sales and Logistics teams to develop distribution strategies and conduct customer site visits to understand requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy through SOP compliance, daily cycle counts, and investigation of discrepancies with corrective actions.
Drive quality and safety standards by developing work instructions, auditing practices, implementing improvement actions, and championing WHS and risk management to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse leadership experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or medical device environments.
Ability to derive meaningful insights from data analysis and implement action plans.
Strong understanding of WHS principles and an uncompromising attitude toward promoting and ensuring a safe workplace for all.
Experience in developing and implementing operational projects; Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM experience will be highly regarded.
