Inspirations Paint, part of the DuluxGroup, is Australia's leading paint specialist franchise group servicing both retail and trade markets. We are seeking a permanent, full‐time Paint Sales Assistant to join our store teams in the South Eastern suburbs/East Bayside area of Melbourne.
The role starts immediately for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop a career in the paint industry. Store hours are 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday. Saturdays are worked on rotation.
Responsibilities include
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to retail and trade customers
* Tinting & mixing paint
* Following the "Inspirations Way"
* Delivering exceptional product knowledge in paint and protective coatings while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
* Maintaining store presentation, stock management and housekeeping standards
* Adhering to Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Experience / Attributes required
* Demonstrated customer service with a personalised focus
* Well‐presented appearance and communication skills
* Team player with the ability to contribute in a collaborative environment
* Proven sales experience and strong knowledge of paint and associated products
* Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition, able to handle customer queries and complaints effectively
* Attention to detail, initiative and willingness to learn new systems
* Honest, reliable and punctual
* Capability to lift up to 25 kg as the role involves heavy lifting
