The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our retail store leadership team at Hype DC Hobart. This business leader will deliver and execute the brand vision, establish a high‐performance culture, create memorable customer experiences, and achieve operational excellence.
The role & responsibilities
- Passionate about creating a world‐class team and a magical vibe within the store
- Drive financial sales goals and metrics in a multimillion‐dollar store
- Deliver on the brand vision and strategy
- Ensure the customer is at the core of everyday business decisions and provide memorable experiences 100% of the time
- Create a people‐first culture and environment by empowering and developing talent within the team
- Provide coaching, support and feedback to drive results
- Recruit, select and onboard all new team members within the store
- Deliver a seamless omni‐channel experience, preparing online orders for consumers in‐store
- Show the store as best in class through visual merchandising excellence
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for customers and team members
To be successful in this role, you will
- Be a team player driven to excellence in sales, operations and loss prevention
- Have experience and authentic passion for delivering best‐in‐class memorable experiences
- Be a coach who can motivate, inspire and level up a large team of brand ambassadors
- Hold retail store manager experience in a quick‐paced environment
- Possess a motivated "Make it Happen" attitude
- The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and have a proven track record in driving sales and key performance indicators
- Experience in effectively managing rosters and achieving wage control
