**About the facility**
Barwon Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. Health services available through Barwon Health cover the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care. There are approximately 8000 staff across 24 locations, including University Hospital, McKellar Centre, Community Health Centres, Alan David Lodge and Barwon Health North.
**Barwon Health North**
Barwon Health North is a new two story facility located in the Northern Suburbs of Geelong to provide a state of the art flexible health facility to meet the growing needs of the community.
Barwon Health North will provide accessible healthcare close to home and to public transport bridging the gap between the acute settings at the University Hospital Geelong by providing the following services
- Urgent Care Services
- Medical Imaging
- Child and Family Services
- Healthy at Home (Chronic and Complex Care)
- Dialysis
- Specialist Clinics
**About the role**
The Receptionist at Barwon Health North will ensure that all administrative functions support each patient's journey of access and patient centred care with a high standard quality in line with the organisational values.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing information to customers promptly and in an easily understood form and that is accurate, current and complete
- Assisting any visitors with general enquiries whist ensuring that the waiting area in maintained as comfortable as possible for visitors to the centre.
- Undertake the day to day administration duties of the assigned area including, banking, site issues, data entry, DMR scanning, risks and improvements.
- Develop self-improvement plan in consultation with the Clerical Supervisor to ensure continuous improvement goals are achieved.
