About the role
ABBA Engineering is seeking a Mobilisation & Operations Coordinator to join our Pinjarra Workshop team.
This is a hands-on, senior-level role for an experienced Mobilisation & Operations Coordinator to lead workforce scheduling, mobilisation, and operational coordination across multiple projects. This role is a key point of contact between operations, workforce, clients, and suppliers, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery.
You will work closely with our Goldfields Area Manager and Pinjarra Workshop Production Supervisor to deliver end-to-end coordination of personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics to support safe and efficient delivery of operations across site services, shutdown maintenance, and project activities.
This is not an entry-level role — the successful candidates will be instrumental in building the processes and workflows that our Administration Team will follow at both our Pinjarra and Kalgoorlie offices.
What You Will Be Doing
On a typical day, you will be:
* Lead workforce scheduling, rostering, and allocation across projects
* Coordinate end-to-end workforce mobilisation from planning to site deployment
* Manage site access compliance including inductions, medicals, VOCs, training, and certifications
* Monitor compliance status and proactively manage expiry risks
* Coordinate flights, accommodation, transport, freight, and logistics activities
* Manage last-minute mobilisation changes and operational disruptions
* Coordinate procurement and availability of materials, PPE, consumables, and equipment
* Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk operational and mobilisation issues
* Coordinate Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements during mobilisation and operations
You will also:
* Support WHS documentation, incident reporting, and compliance tracking
* Lead, support, and mentor coordinators and operational support staff
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, independent, and solutions-focused, with the ability to play a key role in process development, continuous improvement, and digital optimisation to streamline administrative workflows.

* Qualifications in project coordination, operations, administration, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline.

You Will Be Successful If You:
* Set the standard for accuracy and accountability
* Work well independently and within a team
* Hold a strong sense of responsibility for workforce readiness, timelines, and compliance
