South Regional TAFE Lecturer Heavy Automotive $93,426 – $120,651 pa, LGA – Grade 1-9 Position No: Pool Ref Work Type: Permanent - Part Time, Casual, Permanent - Full Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time Location: Bunbury (YYYY-MM-DD) We are establishing a 24 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise.
We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
We currently have a fulltime 24 month Fixed term Contract to fill immediately at the Bunbury Campus from this process.
Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise.
Candidates may also be considered for similar positions within South Regional TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool.
If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

For more information, visit About the role The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements.
Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery.
In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
Relevant Qualification and Experience To be eligible for employment applicants must hold a Trade Certificate in Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technology or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years working in the area of expertise.
Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply, however South Regional TAFE will require the successful candidate to be enrolled, and have commenced training in, an approved training and assessment credential and record satisfactory progress to enable the credential to be completed within two years from commencement.
