About the Role
This role owns the execution of product marketing for Digital Matter's core asset tracking hardware portfolio, with a strong focus on product launches, messaging, and sales and partner enablement. It is a hands-on, highly tactical individual contributor role suited to an experienced Product Marketer who can operate independently, manage complex technical detail, and bring structure and clarity to how products are positioned and sold. The role does not currently include people management, commercial ownership, or responsibility for product strategy or roadmap decisions. However, it is expected to operate at a senior level in terms of quality, ownership, and cross-functional leadership, with a clear pathway to senior and people leadership as Product Marketing scales.
Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Messaging
* Own product and solution positioning and messaging for the core hardware portfolio, including segment and use-case variations.
* Maintain portfolio clarity, including product relationships, differentiation, comparisons, and naming consistency.
* Translate complex technical features, firmware, and product updates into clear, customer-facing messaging.
* Ensure product messaging remains accurate, current, and consistent across all external-facing channels.
Go-to-Market & Launch Execution
* Plan and deliver go-to-market execution for product launches and releases, aligned with agreed business and GTM priorities.
* Own launch and release communications for hardware, firmware, and feature updates, including timing, messaging, and readiness.
* Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure launches are understood and launch-ready.
* Ensure all required launch assets are delivered before release, including positioning, enablement, and website updates.
* Support post-launch follow-through, incorporating field and customer feedback into ongoing messaging and enablement.
Sales & Partner Enablement (Core Ownership Area)
* Own the enablement approach for Sales and Partners for the core hardware portfolio.
* Develop and maintain enablement materials including product overviews, sales kits, comparisons, and use-case narratives.
* Plan and deliver sales training across 4 regions for new product introductions, including live sessions and recorded content where required.
* Develop and maintain product marketing presentation materials, including pitch decks, sales presentations, and partner-facing materials.
* Align enablement materials to regional needs, including objections, competitive context, and priority use cases.
* Act as the primary source of truth for product messaging and enablement content.
Website & Product Representation
* Own how the core hardware portfolio is represented on the website.
* Define messaging hierarchy, product structure, and appropriate technical depth.
* Ensure consistency between website content, sales enablement, and launch communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Participate in product and release planning forums to translate product decisions into clear GTM inputs.
* Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure technical accuracy and clarity.
* Work with Marketing to align launches and product messaging across campaigns and channels.
* Act as a trusted execution partner to Sales and Partner teams.
Capability Building & Team Contribution
* Support onboarding and coaching of team members on product marketing processes, launches, and messaging.
* Contribute to improving product marketing standards, templates, and ways of working.
* Operate as a senior individual contributor, demonstrating strong ownership, quality, and collaboration.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in product marketing within a technology-led or engineering-driven organisation.
* Experience marketing complex, technical products across multiple audiences, industries, and regions.
* Hands-on ownership of product launches, messaging, and Sales and Partner enablement.
* Ability to translate technical product detail into clear customer value and use-case narratives.
* Experience working with international Sales and Partner teams.
* Background in GPS tracking, IoT, telematics, or embedded technology highly regarded.
* Familiarity with HubSpot or similar tools preferred.
* Examples of product launches, enablement materials, or product marketing content produced required.
