Full Time Bricklayer
Salary - $70,000- 75,000 plus super+Coinvest
Our bricklayers are required to read plans and specifications, lay bricks, pre
- Cut stone and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, partitions and structures. Punctuality, enthusiasm, the ability to work independently, and finish your work to a high standard will be recognized.
**Responsibilities**:
- Use measuring devices, laser levels, power/hand tools, and mixers
- Laying bricks in rows, designs and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints/removing excess
- Embedding blocks in the mortar and removing excess mortar
- Checking vertical and horizontal alignment
- Cutting and shaping stones and bricks using machines and hand tools
- Repairing and maintaining bricks and cement blocks
- Constructing walls using brick, stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks
- Supervise apprentice bricklayers, bricklayers
- labourers and OH&S; at the site
