About the Role
* Induct prisoners into the centre, providing guidance and support as they begin their journey towards rehabilitation.
* Staff prisoner accommodation units, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of those in our care.
* Support and oversee prisoner attendance at vocational training, education & employment, helping individuals develop valuable skills and find meaningful work.
* Support engagement in cultural programs, promoting cross-cultural understanding and respect.
* Create file notes and reports for case management, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team.
* Operate control rooms, maintaining a high level of situational awareness and responding promptly to emerging situations.
* Undertake perimeter surveillance and searches, ensuring the security and safety of the facility and its occupants.
* External escorts, accompanying prisoners during transfers and transport.
