The Role
As Quality and Practice Manager, you will drive best‐practice frameworks and quality assurance systems to ensure safe, effective, and trauma‐informed service delivery across all programs. You will lead audits, compliance monitoring, and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards aligned with the Children's Code of Practice. This role entails partnering with HR and service teams to develop onboarding, training, and reflective practice opportunities that enhance staff capability and support organisational goals.
Your leadership will extend to data‐driven strategic oversight, policy development, and the facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our commitment to safety and empowerment. Engaging with external regulators and sector partners, you will help shape an organisation culture marked by integrity, innovation, and respect.
Requirements
* Extensive leadership experience in the Out of Home Care or human services sector
* Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, quality frameworks, and compliance standards
* Proven ability to lead service audits, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives
* Excellent coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills, including policy and report writing
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check
* Unrestricted driver's licence
Nice to Have
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related fields
* Experience with data and outcomes frameworks specific to OOHC
* Certification in TCI (Train the Trainer)
