Biomedical Equipment Technician
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Collaborate with clinical staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve service delivery objectives.
* Document maintenance activities in relevant information systems.
* Assist senior practitioners with management of resources and spare parts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in electronic and mechanical technologies, general engineering, and health technology equipment.
Interpersonal Skills: Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications: Associate Diploma or higher in Engineering (or equivalent), C-class driver's licence required for driving Queensland Health vehicles.
Working Conditions:
The role may require occasional overtime, travel, and attendance at various locations within a local government area.
