We're looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to help us scale our operations and support our financial success.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are expanding the maintenance team and are looking for trade-qualified diesel fitters (diagnostic) and trade-qualified heavy commercial mechanics. The roles include contributing to the team efforts and business goals by:
* Adhering to all safety protocols and embracing Hillery Group's safety culture.
* Undertake maintenance, preventative maintenance and refurbishment of Hillery Group's and associated companies' plant, fleet, and equipment following the manufacturers' requirements and company standards.
* Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy machinery.
* Maintain and compile relevant records on maintenance and repair works, including completion of all necessary paperwork associated with purchase orders, invoicing, service records etc.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools, software, and techniques to identify faults and inefficiencies.
* Competent in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
* Ensures high-quality workmanship through precise and meticulous repairs.
* Respond to call-outs as required.
ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking a Diesel Fitter & Heavy Commercial Mechanic with a can-do flexible attitude and excellent customer service skills as well as the following:
•Must be trade qualified with at least 3-5 years post-trade experience.
•Hold a current QLD MR driver's licence or be willing to obtain it.
•Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
•A 'CAN-DO" attitude with the ability to deliver first-class solutions.
•High level of diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with fixed plant equipment and heavy commercial machinery.
•Positive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
•High regard for safety on the job.
•Experience with working and providing instruction to apprentices.
•Australian citizen or right to work in Australia.
