The Clinical Trials Pharmacist is a critical role in delivering high-quality clinical trials pharmacy services at Alice Springs Hospital. The primary objective is to ensure the delivery of a high-quality clinical trials pharmacy service across NT Health as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description:
* Deliver a high-quality clinical trials pharmacy service as part of the implementation of the Australian Teletrial Program.
* Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and trial sponsors to conduct start-up activities relating to pharmacy, including feasibility assessments, budget negotiations, and identifying and overcoming challenges to attract more pharmaceutical sponsors to the Territory.
* Support the ATP implementation and provide expert advice and coordination on clinical trials.
* Promote and lead a culture of research, quality improvement, and innovation through the development and delivery of education and active participation in the Pharmacy Research Committee.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree qualification with eligibility for registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated experience delivering high-level clinical pharmacy services.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, family, and community structures.
