Advocate for Tenant Rights
We seek a dedicated Advocate to provide information, advice, and casework to tenants. The role involves representing clients at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), upholding tenant rights.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Providing guidance and support to tenants.
o Representing clients at NCAT hearings.
Essential Criteria:
1. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to tenant rights advocacy.
2. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with colleagues.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience working as a tenant advocate or in a related field.
2. Knowledge of the community legal sector and its practices.
