The role will assist with the full range of duties, including:

- Ensuring the performance of the property is optimised and the asset is managed effectively and in accord with the terms of all leases.
- Have an awareness of property financing on properties under management.
- Analyse and implement asset management strategies to maximise the valuation of properties under management, whilst considering best use and returns required.
- Develop and implement leasing strategy for commercial properties under management whilst considering market demand and future trends.
- Advise on sales strategy for commercial properties under management.
- Analyse property investment opportunities as they arise.
- Manage existing property portfolios and commercial property developments.
- Evaluate new lease proposals, seek investor approval to enter into new leases and work with external counsel to document and execute agreed leases
- Instruct and review valuation reports where appropriate and ensure the best method of valuation is used.
- Preparing, managing and monitoring annual budget plans.
- Ensuring that contractors and service providers satisfactorily complete contracted tasks including responding to contractor queries and timely payment of invoices.
- Assist with the completion of make good for vacated tenancies including negotiation (if any) with the departing tenant.
- Co-ordinate regular inspections of all assets with key stakeholders as required.
- Manage works projects which may include fit outs, lobby works or replacement of plant and equipment.

Assist the property accounts team with:

- management of arrears.
- preparation and finalisation of an annual operational and capital expenditure budget and annual reconciliations for each property.
- Ensure all rent reviews are undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the lease.

What you will need to be successful

The successful applicant will ideally:

- Bachelor property degree or higher qualification.
- Additional property qualifications desirable.
- Demonstrates relevant experience in commercial Property Management.
- Proven people management experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service skills ability to communicate to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as agents instructed by the group, contractors and Tenants.
- Proficient communication skills (verbal and written) including report writing.
- Numerate and competent in financial and property management systems with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to Demonstrate initiative in the day-to-day management of tasks to identify problems and source an effective solution to improve efficiency and systems.
- Managing time well and provide timely and accurate reports to meet deadlines

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
