The Position An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer at a well-established and large organisation. This is a permanent position based in the inner northern suburbs with parking available onsite and flexible working hours. As the successful candidate you will report to the Accounts Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of the full accounts payable process. You will work as part of a thriving team and be responsible for the high-volume accounts payable process. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for working within a high-volume and fast-paced accounts payable team. Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to: Process and reconcile supplier accounts, ensuring timely payments, discounts applied, and aged items cleared. Perform daily bank reconciliations and handle urgent payment requests as needed. Manage AP email inbox and respond professionally to internal and external queries from suppliers and customers. Maintain accurate records, including filing and archiving payment documentation. Skills and Experience: As the suitable candidate you will have a keen interest in accounts and developing your career with this large and reputable business. You will need to demonstrate that you can work in a close-knit intimate team environment.
