BUSINESS ANALYST - Temporary 3 year contract, option of working part-time or full-time (21 - 35 hours per week)

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in process mapping, documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement, with experience in IT projects and software implementation. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration are essential, while experience with Microsoft technologies, TechnologyOne ERP, or local government systems will be highly regarded.
Full time: The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,424 - $3,854 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $89,034 - $100,209 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
Part time: The salary range being offered for this part-time position is $2,054.64 - $2,312.52 gross (pro-rata) per 42 hour fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $53.420.64 - $60.125.52 gross (pro-rata) plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
Key Accountabilities
Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and strategic objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to develop practical business solutions.Support the creation and execution of test plans and test cases and assist with defect resolution.Contribute to data mapping, cleansing, and migration while maintaining data governance standards.Identify and recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.Assist with change management activities, including training, documentation, and deployment support.Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure solutions meet business needs.Undertaking of other duties and training as required (including training and documentation) and in accordance with Council's policies and procedures.To ensure that the work for which they are responsible is carried out in ways which safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and visitors under their area of responsibility, including contractors.To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
