We specialize in Mechanical Electrical/HVAC wiring Installations, Building Management Systems (BMS) and Switchboard Design & Manufacture. Our installation capabilities extend from small scale fit outs through to multi-level mechanical electrical and BMS installations.
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Switchboard Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical switchboards and control panels for our ongoing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and wire electrical switchboards and control panels according to specifications and technical drawings.
* Install and connect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and relays.
* Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of switchboards to ensure proper operation.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Adhere to safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff when necessary.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter or similar role.
* Electrical Trade certification preferred but not essential.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Knowledge of all current switchboard Australian standards
