We are seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Finance team. This role will be responsible for financial planning analysis and business partnering across AMZL operations with a particular focus on last-mile delivery networks and operational planning.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead financial planning and analysis for AMZL operations including topology planning, capacity utilization and volume forecasting
* Drive last-mile channel mix strategy and financial analysis across DSP AmFlex and eDSP programs
* Manage financial aspects of new site launches, closures and capacity reviews in coordination with multiple stakeholders
* Support monthly/quarterly financial close processes and reporting
* Partner with business teams on strategic initiatives including concessions, micro mobility, automation and network optimization
* Own preparation and presentation of key business metrics through WBR (Weekly Business Review) and MBR (Monthly Business Review) reporting

Required Experience
* 4 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
* 5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
* 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
* 4 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience
* 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
1. 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
2. 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
3. 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings, operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
4. MBA or CPA
5. Knowledge of SQL/ETL
6. Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
7. Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
