To drive industry transformation in South Australia, we seek a highly motivated HSE Coordinator with a passion for safe and innovative aquaculture.
The Role
This full-time position is based in Port Lincoln with frequent site visits across the Eyre Peninsula. As HSE Coordinator, you will develop and implement effective training programs to ensure farm production and processing teams work safely and efficiently.
You will collaborate with managers and team leaders to maintain proactive safety standards and best practices, coordinating prevention, injury management, and return-to-work programs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to assist with projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with farm managers to achieve safety standards and best practices.
* Coordinate prevention, injury management, and return-to-work programs across all sites, ensuring optimal productivity and employee well-being.
* Be accountable for documenting incidents, data analysis, and maintaining HSE-related information.
* Lead hazard reporting, incident investigations, and near-miss analysis via our HSE system forms.
* Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing team members, including remote and online learning.
* Work closely with the People & Culture, Safety & Compliance Manager to support leadership development and team capabilities.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in HSE or a related field and a valid driver's license.
* Comprehensive knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and experience.
* Excellent communication skills, with emphasis on presentation and instruction techniques.
* Diverse work experience, preferably in aquaculture, food processing, and logistics environments.
Location
We operate multi-bay facilities across the Eyre Peninsula, with primary locations in Cowell, Haslam, and Coffin Bay. This role is based in Port Lincoln, with regular site visits required.
