About The Opportunity
For over 20 years, Uniting Kids Care Early Learning Springwood has supported families in our community with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children from two to five years. Conveniently located near leafy Buttenshaw Park and in the spacious grounds of the Springwood Uniting Church, our service offers warm and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments that are designed to inspire and engage. We are seeking a Certificate III qualified Educator to join the team as a casual Educator and support the team.
What You'll Be Doing In This Role
As a Certificate III Qualified Inclusion Support Educator, you'll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!
Your Work May Include
* Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
* Facilitating play‐based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities.
Who We're Looking For
* Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous experience (preferred).
* Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
* Have a work history that demonstrates programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard).
* Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
* You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
