Aircraft Technician/Maintainer Role
We are seeking experienced aircraft maintenance professionals to support the Apache capability. * Ensure that work does not proceed past inspection checkpoints until inspected and authorised by the supervisor.
* Complete all assigned tasks and any ancillary activities required to deliver work packages.
* Accurately complete technical documentation and reports; annotate documentation to confirm that work meets specified requirements as authorised by the Responsible Manager and record entries in the Competency Log Book where required.
* Prioritise personal and subordinate tasks to meet team goals and timeframes.
* Assist the Team Leader with workplace assessments to support team readiness.
* Propose and implement improvements to team performance and maintenance processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or equivalent trade qualification (ie Diploma) in support of maintenance on rotary wing aircraft.
* MAML with A3 Category.
* Demonstrated ability to use initiative, prioritise and work to tight timeframes with limited supervision.
* Demonstrated success in developing effective working relationships within a complex organisational structure.
* Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures and documentation.
* Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
* Experience using Technical Manuals/Publications to repair aeronautical products and systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and technical directives.
