**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists to join NALHN within their highly skilled Women & Children's Division, providing a family friendly environment and service for the families of Northern Adelaide. The Women and Children's Division includes specialist newborn and paediatric clinics, through to midwifery and obstetric antenatal care models, gynaecology, and continence care. We provide a family friendly environment and service for the families in Adelaide's northern suburbs.
As the Midwifery Digital Information Manager, you will be responsible for the development and integration of Perinatal clinical information systems and digital solutions as well as analysis and reporting on clinical variation to drive improved maternity clinical outcomes. In this role you will undertake the management responsibilities and clinical leadership of the specific perinatal clinical information systems by maintaining software databases: assisting and advising on the development of new software and programs: coordinating the installation of software enhancements and hardware; and planning, implementing, and coordinating user training.
The Midwifery Digital Information Manager works with midwives, medical staff and other multidisciplinary care providers across the division and collaborates with corporate teams and NALHN Digital Health team to optimise clinical systems, including user interfaces. The manager acting as an expert consultant will engage with clinical teams to provide education and support to enhance change management, improve understanding of clinical variation and digital health integration in the clinical practice setting.
To be eligible for this role you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
